What is ROI Certification
ROI Certification® is the most comprehensive way to gain the skills, resources, and knowledge to measure the value of projects and programs of all types–down to the financial return on investment (ROI). The program includes a comprehensive learning program surrounding the ROI Methodology®, a systematic approach to program evaluation that is proven to deliver accurate and credible results. After the course, you will receive virtual support as you conduct an evaluation study in your own organization. Upon demonstrating competency in applying the ROI Methodology, you will join an elite group of professionals with the designation of Certified ROI Professional® (CRP) and earn your CRP Badge. As an additional benefit, you will be an authorized practitioner of the ROI Methodology and entitled to give one-day workshops in your own organization. You will also have access to Members Only content including additional tools, templates, and case studies.
Start Your Journey
Participants will attend an open-enrollment three-day session which includes a comprehensive learning experience delivered in a classroom environment.
Participants will attend five, four-hour sessions in a Zoom virtual classroom simulating the same learning experience as in-person.
Participants will watch recorded videos and complete exercises through an online portal at a self-guided pace with live support from ROI Institute.
Alternative Ways to Become ROI Certified
Guided Self-Study With a Facilitator
Participants will work through the modules of the ROI Certification workbook, and a facilitator will provide feedback as they complete various assignments. After the completion of all the modules, the participant will take a 75-item ROI assessment and must score 60
or better. Then they present their ROI evaluation, complete an actual study, receive feedback, and become a Certified ROI Professional
Independent Self-Study
Designed for individuals who have learned about the Methodology through books, case studies, and feel confident that they know the ROI Methodology. After they explain how they acquired the capability, they will take the 75-item ROI assessment and need to score 60 or better. Participants will present their ROI evaluation plan, complete an actual study, receive feedback, and become a Certified ROI Professional

ROI Certification has been approved for 36 HR (General) re-certification credit hours toward aPHR™, PHR®, PHRca®, SPHR®, GPHR®, PHRi™ and SPHRi™ re-certification through HR Certification Institute® (HRCI®). ROI Certification has been approved by SHRM for 36 PDC hours. ROI Certification has been pre-approved by Training Industry for 24 continuing education recertification hours toward the Certified Professional in Training Management credential. ROI Institute, has been pre-approved by the ATD Certification Institute to offer educational programs that can be used towards initial eligibility and recertification of the Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) and Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD) credentials.
